Red Sand Project – 2025
July 30
Don’t Let Victims Fall Through the Cracks
Take a Stand Against Human Trafficking
Every day, victims of human trafficking go unseen—slipping through the cracks of society’s safety nets. Join VIP (Victims’ Intervention Program) as we take action, raise awareness, and give voice to the vulnerable.
What Is the Red Sand Project?
The Red Sand Project is a powerful, participatory art installation that uses red sand poured into sidewalk cracks to symbolize the lives that are overlooked and forgotten—those trafficked and exploited around the world. This national movement is about visibility, awareness, and solidarity.
By filling the cracks with red sand, we make a visual statement: we see you, we stand with you, and we will not ignore the issue of human trafficking.

Why It Matters
Human trafficking is a hidden crime that thrives on silence and invisibility. Many victims—children, immigrants, people experiencing homelessness, and others—often go unnoticed. This project helps bring their stories to light and reinforces our community’s commitment to prevention, education, and support for survivors.
