The Women’s Resource Center of NEPA, in partnership with VIP, is offering a free Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Training this October.

Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) are specially trained nurses who provide compassionate, trauma-informed care while collecting forensic evidence in cases of sexual assault. These dedicated professionals play a critical role in both supporting survivors and strengthening the justice process.

This comprehensive training is open to registered nurses (RNs) and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)working in Wayne, Pike, Lackawanna, and Susquehanna Counties.
