We are still here for you!
We were very excited to welcome everyone back to in-person services, but after only a couple weeks, we are back at home keeping everyone safe under the Governor’s orders. When we CAN open back up for in-person services, the VIP team will open the doors to both of our offices to serve you in our Honesdale and Milford locations, but due to the pandemic, we are taking a number of precautions to ensure your safety, as well as the safety of our team members. To help us with that, we ask that you please make an appointment in advance. If you want to learn more about what we are doing to make our space safe and comfortable for your return, please refer to the COVID-19 section of the newsletter for more detail.
We are sad to announce that we will be canceling all of our in-person events through the remainder of 2020 to ensure the safety of our team and our clients. However, we will be rolling out an online fundraising campaign with lots of greats prizes. You can be on the lookout for that on social media over the next couple of weeks.
These last few months have been a time of reflection for many of us. I hope that you have had time to learn more about yourself, your dreams, your wishes, along with working on your best coping skills. As many of you know, VIP uses an empowerment, trauma-informed model and we are here to help you discover the new you and help you reach your goals.
If you have experienced any type of sexual abuse, assault, harassment, or domestic violence in your present or past, we are here for you. Now is as good of a time as any to begin to heal. Let us help you discover yourself and your goals for a safe and fulfilling future.
We are just a phone call away. Please call our 24-hour hotline at 570-253-4401 (Honesdale office) or 570-296-4357 (Milford office). All calls are confidential.
Looking forward to supporting you on your journey.
In solidarity,
Michele Minor Wolf, M.A.
