Here at Victims’ Intervention Program we are pleased to once again offer the Adopt-A-Family program to lighten the burden for our clients. If you have participated in this project previously, we thank you on behalf of the many families that have benefitted from your warmth and generosity. We implore you to consider keeping with this tradition. If you are new to the program, we welcome you and encourage all questions you may have.
Our Adopt-A-Family program is a program in which businesses and/or individuals can adopt a family in need for the holiday season. The families chosen for this program are in the most need. In fact, without the Adopt-A-Family program, many of these families would not have a Christmas. We will provide the ages, genders and some wishes from the families. Due to confidentiality purposes, the donor will not know who the family is that they are matched with, nor will the family know who the donor is. This keeps it safe for all involved. The donor will tell us what size family they are interested in. Donors consistently tell us what a rewarding project this is for them and I can assure you it is equally, if not more so, rewarding and helpful to the families.
If you are interested in participating, please fill out the Adopt-A-Family form linked below and be as specific as possible. Make sure to include the size of the family you would like to adopt as well as any other information that would make it easier for us when matching (young children, teens, no preference, etc). Please return the form to Randi Bannon – rb@vipempowers.org and we will get the information about your family including the size, ages and wish list back to you as soon as possible.
