Glow Run was back this year and better than ever, thanks to a generous donation from the Wayne Memorial Health Foundation. This annual evening of exercise and illumination took a different run around the track this year as we preceded the event with a Wellness Fair. We invited representatives from Wayne Memorial Hospital, NAMI NEPA, Wayne County Public Library, Center for Community Resources, Community Care Behavioral Health Organization, and myriad local emergency services personnel to illuminate the students and community members about health, self-care, and safety.
When the squad stepped off the starting line that evening, it was a fluorescent sea of shining superstars. We can’t wait for next year!
